Be the Hero For a Hero
is a non-profit corporation founded by the family of Roy Chelsen to raise money to host bone marrow registry drives.
We also want to raise awareness of the need for people to register as a potential bone marrow/stem cell donor. We are asking everyone to Be the Hero for someone in need of a transplant. They
are heroically fighting to survive while awaiting their perfect match.
Joining the registry is easy, all it takes is filling out some paperwork and swabbing your cheeks. That's it!!

Roy has been battling his cancer since December 2005, and has been looking for his match since June 2008.
We are in this to win it, but
we need your help!
First and foremost, spread the word! We need people to join the registry, so they can be tested and possibly be Roy's match! Second, we need your financial support. Your donation will help us to fund future drives, so that we can keep searching for Roy's match. Every register we get is a potential hero, if not for Roy, for someone else.
